Enjoy the comfort of our newly renovated, modern, solar heated home only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, North Carolina and driving distance to the Great Smoky Mountains, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and a myriad of other Western North Carolina attractions.

Mountain views and natural beauty surround this 41-acre sunny and secluded family farm bordering 20,000 acres of Pisgah National Forest. Mountain hiking trails and singing frog ponds abound on the land as well as deer, hummingbirds, and butterflies of all colors. Evening quiet is beyond the reach of traffic noises and is broken only by the night sounds of owls, whippoorwills, and, of course, the frogs' summer chorus.

Speaking of summer, humidity is low up here where our elevation ranges from 2400-3400 feet and our outdoor patios and decks are enjoyed nearly insect free.

Gardens, greenhouses, and an orchard are actively worked by our family staff, producing flowers and organically-grown vegetables and fruits pollinated by our own honeybees. Check the cupboards for a jar of our Sourwood or Clover honey while you're here.
